think of that one person that you always believe in. the one person that you will always cheer on. call them, text them, wall them, message them and just remind them that you love them and believe in them. if there's more than one tell them all. i don't think anyone has any idea about how much easier life can become when there's people cheering for you, even if it's only one. sometimes the only thing keeping you going is the knowledge that someone loves you and believes with no doubt that you can make it. when you fail again and again and are ready to give up, call it quits, the only thing that keeps you going is that person's voice telling you to try one more time, this time will work, that's an amazing feeling, especially when your plans work out... just because you tried so many times with the help of your own little fan club. these are reasons you have to remind your wonderful amazing person that they matter. they matter a lot. and just always believe in yourself because there's always someone else you will be on your side.

this is the truth. some days we just have to forget all of our worries and anxities and just laugh. it's the only way some of us can get through life. things get hard. they always get hard. there is no such thing as an easy life. the only way to deal with life is to make a joke of it. to laugh even when you want to cry. to look up at heaven and hear God whispering jokes in yoru ears. that's why He made laughter, so life wouldn't seen so dire.

i know a few people that make me see the end of the tunnel. i know a few people who make me smile just by thinking about them. i know people who would do a lot of things to make me feel better. sometimes these people don't even know what they do to me. how good they make me feel. i love each of them with the fire of ten thousand mega-volcanos.

the only thing i wish i could do for them is to make them feel the same way about me even when i'm not around. i want each of them to realize every good thing about themselves. i want them to feel loved. i want them to be able to look in the mirror and see someone beautiful. and i want them to be able to do all this by themselves.

i want the people i love to know that they are wonderful people.

i think it all comes down to that. when you can look at a person and realize you want to be everything they need. you want to hold them when they are sad and laugh with them when they are happy. and that's all there is. when you want what's best for them no matter what the cost is to you. that's when you know it's worth it.

i don't really know where i'm going with this quote. all that i know is that i really really like it. it sorta shows that any love quote most likely are not original. that each person got them from somewhere. who knows if thsi is true or not. i know i don't. but it's just an interesting concept. that people are going to have to go more and more out there to be original in love things. actually, and time in life. so many things have already been thought up. but that's just the challenge, huh? being original.

it's the truth. if you love someone you hand over to them the ability to break you. it is the way it works. and there's always that little part of your brain that is scared that they will use that power, even though the rest of you is sure they won't. and there's always a chance they will.

footsteps in the sand

STORY

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamt he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the Lord about it:

"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied:

"Oh my precious. precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
I didn’t leave you, it was then that I carried you."
